My seat is in great condition as in it doesnt have any tears on it at all.
My hangup with it is that the black of the seat looks washed out. I've tried everything on this thing and once whatever product I use dries..the washed out look returns.

have not used armor-all... that is bad
(learned the hard way 20 years ago)

I don't think the seat is leather.

You will get a lot of negative feed back on this, but I like using lemon pledge. A bit slippery at first, but that is not a problem for me. And it goes away after a couple of rides. But the seat, and any plastic with white fade look comes back to life. And stays that way. I use it on all plastics, rubber and side of tires.

    It won't last.

I recommend Mother's "Back-to-Black" it works quite well. Widely available too.

i'll take the lemon pledge, that back to black stays slippery too long and has silicone in it, extra work if it gets on something you might want to paint.
don't put anything on the tires but soap and water

Admittedly, I've only used it on the sides of my seat, and for things like black plastic rear fenders, the stupid "black" airbox (which is not made out of any plastic known to man) and the chainguard (which is shiny black plastic on the 550 Seca.) Oh, and the seat of my Craftsman shop stool when the red vinyl starts looking grubby. And I haven't fallen off it yet.

People on the goldwing forums use LEMON pledge on just about everything: Plastic, paint, windshields (some conflicting info on that), etc.

Some claim cycle vendors use it on the showroom for new bikes as well for floorroom shine.

I use Turtle wax, Mothers Billet Metal polish and chrome cleaner, some Armor-All, and the aforementioned Back-to-Black. Bike stays shiny.

I use back to black too, but I'm trying to find this stuff for plastic parts that has black dye in it. I think bondo makes it. It doesn't come off witch washing because it actually re-colors old plastic and dries without being too shiny. People on the internets say it can last for like 6 months. Don't know if I trust that, but it's easier than the heat gun trick.

For seats, I like to start off with vinyl cleaner and a SOFT brush. Then the armor all. Kinda slippery at first, but it works it's way in.

That 303 protectant might need a try...
