Regarding the question about the products Melting Point ... I got this response to the inquiry sent to the Company:
    . . . . . . . . . .

    Rick:
I sent your question to our chemist at our manufacturing plant so while
I am waiting for an answer, I will give you a few properties of the
L.E.T. Once the Liquid Electrical Tape has cured, it is inert. At high
temperatures, the product may become soft but the solvents are gone so
it will not typically "melt". I will e-mail you again once our chemist
    has replied to my e-mail.

More on this as it arrives.

It'll be interesting to find out the temp. this stuff will stand but I'm betting that a product designed for insulating wiring connections will take a whole lot more then we can throw at it on carb boots. I'm more concerned about wheather it will peel after a while. Oh well if it does, the boots needed replaced to begin with, and hey, we saved some time and money for however long it works, right? Defenitely something to throw in the tour bag, I can see a lot of other uses for this stuff.

we use a lot of liquid tape stuff of various brands on our radio links.... I have seen it survive for 3 years under the sun in above 100 deg. weather. it just gets a little harder overtime, but I've never seen it come apart or flake off or get brittle.
