all those carb hoses

    I bought a nonrunning xj700 1986 withot the airbox,will use pods.......after cleaning carbs, im wondering what to do with those hoses...one is fuel inlet, 2 I think are overflows...do I plug or leave open the others??

    Have an XJ1100 and there is a mess of fuel lines from the petcocks. Sorry, not much help. I have pods and they work nut mine came with the bike. Sorry I can't be much help.

    On a 700, the fuel line goes to the carbs between 2/3, the overflow lines between 1/2 and 3/4, and there is a vent tube coming from the top of each carb. I wouldn't plug them.

    Leave open. They are vents and should be routed down and to the rear of the carbs.
