    Hi guys

I just took apart my carbs for cleaning, since the bike loses power at high RPMs.
I noticed the main jet sizes of the carbs were all 102.5. This is on a bike with standard airfilter/box and an aftermarket 4-in-1 Sebring exhaust (was on when I bought it).
Do you think these are the correct sizes?

    Hi

I checked my Clymer manual and there is something slightly odd. It states that carbs 1& 2 should have MJ size 105 and carbs 3 & 4 102.5 for Mikuni 32mm carbs.
I can't think why this would be. I did have mine apart but I think i only checked one for size - not thinking that they might be different!

Thanks for the info, you're right! Two 105s and two 102.5s.
Now the trick is which carbs should have which sizes...? When you write the numbers of the carbs, do you mean from left to right or the cylinder ignition sequence?

    Hmm 'curiouser and curiouser'.

Clymer definately states 1 & 2 (the left hand side ones ) as bigger and the right hand pair smaller - but inner and outer maybe makes more sense. A mis-print maybe ?

Also I would have thought bigger on the inside for cooling effect of more gas.. :?
