    Is the xj700n exhaust different from the xj700x exhaust. I need to replace my exhaust, I'm trying to find a used one rather than spend the money on a new one.

    Yes, they are basically identical from the collector on back. Headpipes are different enough to not be able to interchange properly, if I recall correctly.
