Had an oil change done in town (because of all the rain here lately I don't have a dry place at home) I looked at the work done and everything seemed fine. 20 miles down the road going through the mtn roads on the way home I took a left hand curve and found myself eating pavement and my bike kissed a saguaro. Not much harm done (save my pride). I dusted myself off and picked up my bike and found a nice coat of 20w-50 on my rear tire. Upon closer inspection I found the cause. The filter housing had been puking oil out of the o - ring and the bolt was hand tight...

Needless to say, I'll be doing my own oil changes (rain or shine) from here on out.

I've done 3 oil changes on her already, I just got lazy and didn't want to do it in the mud. I guess I've learned my lesson.
The bike is ok. Just some cosmetic stuff to fret over.
