Hello fellow XJ owners, I am a new owner of an XJ650 Seca Turbo out of Oregon. I just recently made this my second bike, my first being a ragged XJ600S Seca II.

I'm here to hopefully find some resources on maintaining this turbo bike, it has just rolled over 2,000 original miles and runs like a top with new fluids and tires, but still needs some things addressed. The brakes are something I want to address, front brake feels mushy and squeals a bit, so I plan on rebuilding the master cylinder, and doing stainless lines with new brake pads in addition to new shoes for the drum brake (I'm assuming the originals pads and shoes are still in place). One other issue I have is the lower fairing is contacting the crankcase and melting a bit, I'm puzzled why its held so tight against the case since its using the factory brackets and mounting hardware, so I need to find a solution to that ASAP. Looking forward to interacting with some fellow XJ enthusiasts! :D
