I am looking for a excelent set of original bars for my 85 XJ 700 Maxim X. my bars are tweaked a little from a fall over in the driveway and the bike is a 5K original. If I could find an original straight set I would swap them. Anybody?

Do you have a pic of what you're looking for? Maybe they are the same as some other XJ's original bars.

Hey Piersol, thank you very much! I got the right bars, a new clutch lever, and a whole new petcock assembly, all for $160. As long as what I recieve is the right stuff I consider that a great deal, and all OEM parts. I'm going to be happy to chuck the old petcock in a box and forget the leaking BS problem..... :)

I also bought a petcock from them. I received it, and it is wonderful! Nice easy smooth operation, and no more leaking gas when I pull the fuel line! :)

Man I am so ready for that! I have a little 1/4 turn brass valve in-line after the petcock right now so I can at least get the fuel shut off and not foul my oil.
