How much should I expect to pay to have my Carb Hats Powder Coated?

I'll be delivering them to the place all sanded-down and smooth as a new baby's back-side.

    Hi Rick

I was looking at the same thing with some spare hats I've got. The guys that powder coated my trike would blast them anyway as a matter of course, and quoted my £20 (sterling).

Of course, dropping them off in Lincoln UK would be a bit of a drive for you!

Pity your not in Oz Rick, I'd do them for ya for nothing. I have my own gear at work and would put them through with another job.

If they are already clean then max cost should only be twenty bucks.

Guy down the road from me charges me $20NZD for up to about a dozen items.... Couple of bits he did for free.

It's just a shame he's such lazy bastard and can take 2 weeks to get them done.

The local place near me has a minimum shop order of $60.00. They say for example that the normal cost for to have motorcycle clutch/brake handles coated is $25.00 but they still charge $60.00. So it's more cost effective to at least have them meet the min. order. Kinda sucks but also helps to commit to a change too! I've got a lot of stuff planned to coat too, so hopefully I'll get some done next winter. (they also do ceramic coatings too!!)
