Rsk, same thing happened to me. I swapped mine at a dealer and unfortunately he gave me 29.5 Suzuki shims. Guy never charged me in the first place for the swap so when and I went back and he gave me the correct size. I truly have no complaints and was appreciative. The gentleman's intentions were solely to help. Why not call a few local dealers in the area and talk to the service department see if they will swap. Even if they charge a couple quids to swap each shim you need. Try dealers / shops specializing in BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha vintage bikes. They are 29 mm. Good luck.

Aha ! The UK/Euro shim pool is finding its feet right now. So far I have 'bought' a shim from another member for a fiver plus postage - others (Robbie) have suggested he would be happy to swap a shim for a another 'random' size.

I can't see it mattters too much how it operates as long as availability is kept on the list - see here..

Got the Shims off Ebay, Contacted the Guy i Got them from, he seems Cool,
is going to Send Me The Correct Shims, so all is Well.

turns Out I totally messed up on the Measuring of the shims Anyway so it was quite fortunate that it happened.

was putting a .20 gauge in and Writing down 20
so when it came to checking the table I Was taking that as between 16- 20,

    Wrong!

When it is actually between 21-25, Stupid Mistake

    DoH..!!!

Will have Some Shims Up For Pool After I Have Finished

    Gary.
