1980 XJ650 fuel tank

    OK..... tried the tank seal routine. No go. Still leaking at the seams.
    Tried ebay and nothing great happening on there. Any leads on a tank out there? One that I can just bolt the petcock on and go...?

    I should also mention, doesn't matter if it's banged up/emblems missing, etc... as long as it fits the bike and holds fuel.

    You need a 650/750 Max tank if you want one that doesn't require mods. The 750 tank is larger, but will fit without problems. Not sure if a 700 will fit without mods, but might.
