Headlamp Issue

    Hi everyone. I have a 1982 Seca XJ 650RJ and I just got the bike this month and just got it running yesterday.The issue is that when I turn the ignition on the headlamp turns on and both Lo/High beams work, but,t when the engine runs the headlamp turns off. Is this a relay issue and if so where is it located. In my manual it shows attached to the frame under the gas tank. There are 4 relays showing in this vicinity. Could any tell me (going front to back) what these 4 relays are, or specifically which one is the headlamp relay.

    Thank you Chacal. You've saved me a lot of time.I found your thread on relays. I had number of starting issues and wiring issues. I just got the bike after it being stored for 9 years. I guess the PO had done some work on the wiring and had the headlamp relay and side stand relay reversed and I guess that's why the headlamp when on when I turned key and shut off when it ran.
