Great idea; sharing sales with the site.
Nice looking motor profile and great message! 8)

I like the logo's in the order shown, I like the idea of the "est. 2005"; add that to the top logo and it's a winner!

    What's a YIC?
We don't need no stinking YICS!

I like the top one too.
I would support and slap one onto the war wagon.

Just for the record - I'm running the same cheap EMGO pods on my bobber and trying to decide between the getting EMGO's again or maybe forking out the extra cheddar for some UNI or K&N pods for my new project.

Also - forgot to mention I do really like your design and might be persuaded to slap one on the bike or helmet somewhere if it comes to fruition. I'm kind of a minimalist (and a cheap-ass  ) so I might be more likely to use a vinyl decal than a metal badge...

I also like the "Build - Repair - Share" mantra. I think it sums up this site pretty nicely.

    I really like this : http://xjbikes.com/forums/index.php?attachments/xjbikesdotcom2-gif.194/
    specifically as a website logo.
There are heaps of good logos on this thread which would look great on t-shirts etc, but we dont need to be reduced to one single image - we're not selling anything. I dont believe brand is important in this instance, so theres no reason NOT to have all kinds of different logos for different purposes. which begs the question, what purpose does this logo have?

Wow, I remember this thread when I was looking for logo ideas. This is an oldie but I'll drop in ever so often to see if something catches my eye. Keep in mind that I can't use any trademarked material... Logo has to be simple and easy to read.

Advice. Been a graphic artist for thirty years. It is nice to ask the forum for ideas, but this is just the wrong way to design a logo! That's the experience talking! Would you ask for advice from mechanics to help with your will!

Kind of agree with Hogfiddles. Why change it, it is not that bad.

Part of the swoop might need to be refined, it's still kind of wavy. I'm sleepy though so I'll work on it more later if there's interest.

+1 to anyone who recognizes the reference

Couldn't sleep until I refined it a bit. Still slightly wonky. Less so.

I kinda like Baldi's engine drawing. Maybe not for a logo, but my next tattoo! Uh oh! But I am with Dave for the logo. I like the orange n black swirley enough that I want a t shirt!

Matti, I could definitely help make that happen for you. You'd be the sixth person I've designed a tattoo for.

Yeah, I've done a few myself. Used to be a graphic designer/animator back when there was money in it... I designed a V-twin tattoo for myself based on the designs of some other motorcycle company, but then I got a good bike! lol Tattoos are something I'm seriously addicted to, but I REALLY have to prioritize! What's more important, a bike tattoo, or a running bike? Still love the logo, I just don't think too hard about budgets late at night and the weekend is upon me! Did I ever tell the tale of the day my wife told me she was pregnant and then I went and ordered a couple of hundred bux of parts for the Seca? Let's just say I'm not the only one watching the credit card bills now!

I also like Bald's engine design as a sticker.
One concern about the Orange and Black . . . . many people associate those colors with THAT motorcycle manufacturer . . . and, for me, XJ's have much more appeal than HD's.
