Instrument mod.

    Hi Folks

    After several evenings with a drill and a modelling knife I made the electronic rev-counter from a FZ400 fit the Seca 550 cluster - well sort of - as you can see it's a bit 'twisted'. With only two m4 studs to play with and holes drilled into the bevelled cable entry it's rather a PITA.

    Anyhow also made the needles all one colour which I was in there..
    looks better in real life. The point of all this was/is to run a Radian engine which lacks the mechanical tacho drive.

    Doesn't look too bad, good job. Speaking from personal experience, those needles can be very easy to break!

    Ah yes I had a near thing with the fuel gauge needle that I accidentally bent. Part of the reason for repainting them with some
    fluorescent orange paint.
