Not legal here in NY........no turn signals.

    Good luck selling it, though!

Back brake plate ? Am i missing something here
The shocks are not bottomed out whatsoever
New oil , freh oil.. It was meant to say that it has been freshly built, tuned with fresh oil. Less than 25 miles on her since the build.
The links you sent are all good.. But this is an XJ forum so i dont see why someone would want to buy a full dresser, or an RD350 or any of those other bikes.
I built a 1985 Yamaha Maxim XJ700 Bobber Chopper style and the price i believe is right considering what went into it,

The average joe that would want to build this bike would spend upwards of $3,000 or so in parts and labor
Just the solo seat is about a C note
If you like at my signature you will see my other builds and what went inti building them. Good money was spent and the truck sold for $ 6,000
The bug will sell for over $25,000

Someday when the bike sells the right buyer will come along and appreciate what has gone into it

Yeah, not sure what he meant about the brake plate.... It's obviously there--oh wait!!! It just came to me while i'm typing--- I think may be because it wasn't polished like everything else? Just guessing, though.

Shocks- I don't think they're bottomed out.... They look like shorties, and/or maybe repositioned?

PERSONALLY,it's not my style but it is a very clean build, for sure. Nice job.

I also think, though, that many times when someone does a custom job like this, ( and even on a lot of restos, either bike or auto)you never get out of it what you put into it. Good luck on the sale.

The bike looks really nice. I would ride it. Not gonna get on you like the others about the price. I say aim high but be willing to negotiate when selling. One question I have is, how is the rear fender supported to be able to support a passenger on that p-pad?

Supports are tucked underneath the fender for a clean look with 3/4" stainless steel solid rods both are 12" lengths each.

Had a friend use his mandrels and huge hydraulic leaf brake to make the necessary bends so it will conform to the contours of the fender.
My wife is 5'1" at 105 lbs so she will be fine when she wants to ride with me.

One of the things with selling custom bikes is there's no manual for the mods. No joke, you're a intelligent guy. Imo underwrite addendums for anything not stock to be given to new owner. Don't know if I'd want to own a bike I didn't customize myself but I'd sure like to take it for a spin. Slick bike.

Sick bike. And considering I see xj go anywhere from $500-$2000 depending on condition. All those conditions including not running to running but needs work I say $4000 is a tad on high side BUT if I had $4k and didn't really want to worry about all the work u did. I would buy this over a $1200 bike that needs work.

I just lowered the price to $2,500.00
I have replaced the rear tire to a fresh new tire plus i lowered the price because i have a health situation that requires money and i need to sell the bike right away.
