Battery installment 82 XJ650

    This is my first motorcycle. I bought it as a basket case in pieces from previous owner who tired of fooling with it. After some delays myself Ive finally gotten it mostly back together with great help from the Haynes manual. However theres not much in the manual about battery installation and I cant find much online either. If someone could post a pic of a installed battery it would be greatly appreciated. The battery and fuel tank are basically all that remain to be done :) so Im anxious to finish and crank it over. Thanks

    The maxim (U.S. model) is almost exactly the same. The only noticable difference is how the cover locates. Are you trying to install the battery box? FWIW if you are you using a acid filled battery like I am don't forget to attach the breather hose (it's important).

    Thanks guys. Errkon that pic will help a lot! Yeah I know about the breather tube rocs82650 but thanks for making sure :)
