Hello everyone, another new guy in town

    Hey, Mongo here. Ran across this forum a month or so ago when I bought a new to me 1982 xj650 and was trying to learn a bit about the bike. Figured it's about time I introduce myself and start digging around a bit more. The bike only had a bit over 19000 miles on it, I've already put another 1500 on it riding to school and everyday and work on the weekends. The bike is in pretty fair shape and runs like a champ.

    My first bike was a 2000 Honda Shadow 1100, one of those big cruiser bikes. Took me a bit to get used to the smaller size of the 650, but man is it fun. Really starting to get used to how nimble and quick this bike is and don't think I could ever go back to a cruiser. Anyway, hello to everyone and look forward to chatting with you folks.

    Oh yeah, here's a pic of the bike.
