Looking for 81 650 engine block

Took block off to inspect pistons and cylinders as bike will not cooperate and discovered all bores out of spec and pistons worn, one cylinder in particular is completely shot. All would need rebored with new pistons/rings, but i'd much rather find a used block, and ideally pistons, to replace mine. Something guaranteed within spec. If anyone has something let me know, otherwise I'm watching, but skeptical of eBay.

 

I have one, took the head off to use on a different project and the block/tranny/pistons etc have been sitting on the shelf ever since. 18,000 miles on it, stock components. If you want to see some pics email me at Mr.MaxStorey@gmail.com and we can get this party started.

Got one with 29k on it but top end was making abit of noise. It still fires up but, my working knowledge of internals of engines is a bit limited. The guy I got it from didn't even realize it needs a lead substitute in the fuel for the valves. Best guess is the valves need to be adjusted. Worst guess is stuff is worn with the cams and valves. But, I'd sell it cheap to get it out of my garage.

 

Thanks, but i went ahead and picked up new, oversized pistons and had my block bored and honed.
