the 1 moto show in portland

    is anyone planning to attend this weekend? the wife and I will be there tomorrow. we are trailering our bikes down then riding from the hotel to the show. I know there are some Oregon members.

    we tried to get in last night but the fire marshal shut them down early because they had too many people inside. we went back today and got in, but it was so packed, it was difficult to see anything much less get pics. I snapped a few pics and I will get them up later. we are going back tomorrow too, so I will likely get a few more pics. we saw a lot of bikes both inside the show and on the street, but my xj550 was the only xj there. it was a beautiful day in Portland for riding and we saw bikes everywhere.

    so did you make it to the show? we almost didn't make it back sunday morning. the wife was surprised by a short stop on a curve and dumped her majesty scooter by using too much front brake. she banged up her knee and hip. she shook it off and we had breakfast (pahdnas pit is awesome) then continued on to the show. fortunately the worst of the damage is to the scooter, but she has a nice bruise on her hip from the throttle and some road rash on her knee. good thing she was wearing her Kevlar pants!

    good to hear everyones okay. I checked out the show on Sunday. it was still busy. alittle to hectic/busy for me to enjoy. cool bikes. glad you were able to take some photos.

    you shoulda been there Saturday! it was standing room only! I was glad we went back sunday, it wasn't quite as packed. I was disappointed that I had the only xj there.
