1986 XJ700 questions

    Hey guys. found the forum and love it! I am also new to yamaha motorcycles and have a few tech questions to help me through the mod process on my XJ700.
    1. I am replacing factory hand controls with Harley hand controls. I would like to match up mastercylinder size appropriately. Anyone know stock bore diameter on a stock Xj700 master cylinder?
    2. I am also planning on replacing the headset so I wonder if anyone kinows what the gear ratio is for the stock speedo?

    I will post pictures soon of my progress and look forward to being part of the forum!

    I know this is an old message, but I think it's 60MPH @ 2240RPM (google 60:2240). How'd the build go, by the way?
