I sold the XJ650 Maxim end of last year and have now recently bought a XJ700 Maxim.

Great bike, has a few minor issues and needs a tidy but runs smooth and well. Love the look and stance.

White seat top will be replaced with original black! I'll be changind a few bits but nothing serious. Black billet mini bullet indicators and different mirrors, and may swap tail light for tombstone shape.

Wow, I like the exhaust, any idea what mufflers those are? Much better looking that the stockers.
    Oh, and welcome.

welcome madhatter. I love the look of your new ride. Of course, It looks just like mine, or did, before I brought it down to the frame. I'm glad to hear you're bringing the black back to that seat. Let me know when you're ready to replace those mirrors! If they're stock I might be interested in them. I think I need to replace mine.

Bigshankhank the exhaust is stainless steel 4 into 1 by Motad.
DaveStokes the mirrors are original Yamaha.

send me a PM when you're sure you're going to part with them. I almost bought some off ebay yesterday but I don't mind waiting a bit. I have to get mine back together anyway and i.m still waiting on some parts to arrive.

If anyone knows where I can get some I'm in need of the 4 carb to airbox joint rubbers, part number 1FG-14453-00-00 or any that may work!
