Well all, I feel like the Prodical Son back again. One of these days the fatted calves will run out.
To fill in quickly, I bought an xj 750 e2 that has needed full strip and refurb. and now I'm rebuilding well but came across a sensor on the front headstock that wires into the clocks and I've no idea what it does or if I really need it.As I said half mounts on head and the other half mounts on the back if the bottom fork yolk.

Can't help you with the sensor, but just drag your picture from it's source (desktop or computer) or from a website like photobucket into your reply and your pic should show up. Year and model of your 750 may help as well. Cheers Jaimie

I believe that has something to do with turn signal canceling.

That's good thinking, will research, although I'm wondering is it really needed.

As long as you keep an eye on your signals and cancel them manually, no it is not strictly necessary. Nice feature to have, though.

Do any of you know how it works, there is a slide in the semicircular yoke and I'm wondering does it need to be set any particular way?
