    And you didn't learn anything from that!? Motorcyclist die far too often for anyone in the sport to be so flippant about it. Ours is a relatively small community. Most of us care about the well being of our fellow motorcyclsts. I'm sure that if this thread had been started by a loved-one posting about your actual death, many of us here would have begun to raise funds to help your family. Please be more thoughtful in the future.

    lol. I read the title for what is was. Especially since the avatar didn't change but the name under it did. I am quite certain that if a loved one decided to post that their beloved motorcyclist had actually died the title would be a bit more appropriate than "....is Dead"

    I didn't really think it was about a forum member passing when I read the title. It would be in obnoxiously poor taste to post of a member passing so callously. While I'm sure some members here can be butt-holes at times, none are that calloused to be so abrupt with bad news. It was an attention getter that, by all measures, appears to have worked. There are far more important things to get panty-bunched about ...lol :p

    But a loved one who may be bitter because "that two wheeled monstrosity that took his attention away from ME has now gone and killed him" might be inclined to use less than respectable/ appropriate language. . . .

    I appreciate Kmoe's post and FtUp's apology, no harm no foul, just a different perspective.
