    Hi all,

Does anybody know if the carb intake boots from a 1982 83 Yamaha XJ650 Seca Turbo will fit a 1980 xj650 maxim?

    Thanks!

Nope. According to the XJCD Xref, they are different.

Fraps is right - the Turbo has special just about everything when talking about the engine.

You can use the boots from 80-83 650/750 Maxim's & Seca's though - those should all be the same.

Shouldn't, but I've never had one drop on me for this reason. I would suspect spark or fuel issues if your having problems. Anyone else?
