Are you selling these on eBay, if so what is the tank cap+helmet lock+yamaha chain set? Is this the stock security chain that goes in the small compartment on the left side of the bike?

I'll bump it once more for luck :) I'm not bashing you at all - just some tongue in cheek play.

Sometimes people don't like it, when I admin I don't really... but that's up to SnoSherrif around these parts...

Reply to a post with wording like "bump" or other non-relevant reply. This brings the thread to the top of the list again because it has more current reply date... Basically done to gain more exposure. Your question and my answer just bumped it

Is this the rear grab bar, or the handle that is used to prop the bike up on the center stand?

Either way, I'm interested. I need both of those.

    lgmab,
I have a 82 Seca 750, and I am in need of a new horn system. One of my horns does not work and the other is starting to fade away. In your add, you list "Horns x 2 and Bracket 5G2-83371-20-00". After looking at the Yamaha Parts&Service page, the 5G2-83371-20-00 is the High Tone Horn. The other horn is listed as 5G2-83371-30-00 Low Tone Horn. Is this the correct part number for the other horn?

If so, I assume that a '83 SECA horn is interchangable with a '82 SECA horn. I am interested in purchasing this. How much? Do these horns work? Thanks for your help and looking forward to hearing from you.

Sorry to hear you wont be riding again. :(

I am interested in your left handlebar controls. I assume this comes with the switch pod and lever. I am interested if they are in great shape.

I was told recently, that the engine block, in other words top and Bottom halves must be sold as a set. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Can I sell the halves separately or are they really machine as a match-pair?
    Thanks !

My understanding is that they are machined as a pair. They engrave numbers in the back for reference purposes on bearing sizes for the crank shaft and also for the middle gearing.

Assuming its sold since not listed, but is the front master cylinder reservior diaphragm and/or the MC itself available? I have an '82 and am assuming they're interchangable - the MC that is jammed behind and under the headlamp ?

    Thanks,
    Paul

Been fighting a no spark issue for 4 months. ( free time ) did something on a whim. took the side starter relay and popped it into the starter circuit cutoff relay plug ahd bingo I have spark . now on to cleaning the carbs. to get it to run.

I have rickomatics "Carburator Manifesto" article. with all the details.

Slowly bringing this thing back to life. New cables and Bucket headlight to follow.
