So Im wondering if its a direct bolt on if you swap the whole tank and seat? Maxim seat/tank to Seca seat tank that is.

I have a tank from a 650 Maxim on my 750 Seca. It's a direct swap...no modifications needed. And yes, a 750 Seca tank will fit perfectly on a 650 Maxim. Go for it!! >PD<
