    I would like to say hello to everyone. Just recently came across this forum- what a great place! Have spent some time reading others questions and the answers they've received, looks like there are quite a few very knowledgeable members.
    I own an 85 Maxim X 700. Its a great ride, took some time to get used to, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything. Its nice to know there are other so many other XJ owners that feel the same way. I am in an smaller rural area where a majority of the bikes on the road are of similar make and age, so its great to be individual. Thanks for all of the superb information!
