    the 650 and 750 starters are the same, i might have a viable candidate but won't know for a bit... need to get my own starter issues solved first to know if i've an extra. :)

    Willing to sell one of them? :)


    I just traded a p'n's digital camera for an '80 xj650. I try to start it, and it barely wants to move. I pulled the starter to find out that it's missing the bushings on the planetary gears that run off the armature gear (DOH!!) Looks like a rebuild gone VERY wrong. Who knows.
