this past winter was a long one
I had bi lateral carpel tunnel surgery on both hands
so I was not able to do any work until late Feb
I was however stockpiling parts all winter
the first thing I did was check my Valve Clearances
and guess what they were all tight
Hogfiddles to the rescue, new shims were swapped
and after a few long conversations on the phone with Dave
he convinced me to purchase a Morgan Carbtune
things I did to my XJ
last year I checked brakes and decided to just replace the lines and master cylinder
this spring I put new pads and shoes
new air filter, gel seat pad, I replaced all wiring.. soldered all wires
half my fusebox blew up, so I soldered in inline fuses, will do the rest next winter
then I changed the entire paint scheme as well as added smoke lenses and a new
    tail light
once all work was done and everything was put back together
the bike ran, but did not run well
last Friday I got to finally use my Morgan Carbtune Pro
initial readings showed that my carbs were not that out of tune
however I would ride it, and it would backfire like crazy when I would downshift or
    slow down
hooking up the carbtune was pretty simple too
it took me maybe 10 minutes of tinkering to get all the levels as close as I could
then I put my tank back on and went for a ride
Hogfiddles has warned me that the bike would be silly fast once tuned
    and he did not lie
I cannot recommend the Morgan Carbtune enough.. is it expensive yes? but you will save
that on fuel in first year alone
thank you Dave for all the help!

Looks gorgeous hotcakes, amazing how fork gaiters and that fork pouch really beef up the look of the front end. Nice paint too

I also added a USB charger and switched out the side reflectors for LED ones
tied them both into my ignition switch.. I love the LED running lights
and they were cheap.. you can get a pair off ebay for 8 bux

Are your turn signals converted to led as well? I have been thinking about adding running lights but I don't know what kind of extra energy is available to run them without sacrificing other components.

also whats with the front brake line routing? haha

    the signal lights are not
I am hoping to add some led stick on signals to the mirrors
I ordered them, still have not got them
I just tapped into the ignition fuse.. since it is constant power
as for the front brake line
I eliminated the thru pass and just used a short braided line
    hey it works

This summer after it sets in the sun a few hours I want to hear if the gel insert was a good idea
