Finding a good seat.

    I have a 82 XJ650 and I hate the seat that is on it. I think someone put this seat on there but it is like one of those touring seats and it looks to big to me. Where can I find after market seats that will work on this bike.

    Search on eBay, of course! I got a nice stock replacement in great shape for about $35 delivered to my door.

    Definitely eBay. Always seems to be someone parting out an XJ on there.

    Just out of curiosity (anyone who knows), are the 650 and 750 seats interchangable? Post some pics of the seat you have.. I have a stock seat on my 750.. If I like the one you have and it will fit, we could trade.

    hey temyava why dont you come to my house when i reupholster my seat. maybe we can reupholster yours all i have to do is shave some of that foam out of there and put the vinyl on real tight, and dont forget i love you like a brother, beetle bop

    i'm not sure if they are interchangable or not but will try to find out. if they are, i have no problem with trading. i'll take a few pics and post them as soon as i get a chance.
