Help with new 81 Maxim 550 turn indicators

    Got some after market turn signals from ebay. Said they were compatible. I'll be putting them on my bike soon and removing the stock indicators. Any tips would be helpful. Anything to look out for?

    Be sure the lamp wattage is high enough to trigger the signal relay.

    Are they LED? If so you'll need an electronic LED flasher or load resistors.

    The worst thing you might have to do is change the bulbs. They are not LED.
