For Sale 1985 XJ700 Titled Rolling Chassis and Engine

I have two 1985 XJ700's, a parts bike bought at salvage and a mostly complete bike with a clear title. I am in Georgia where a title is not required on a bike this old. I am advertising on this forum because I know there are some states where you must have a title for a bike of any age. I am in the Atlanta area not far from the intersection of I-78/85 and I-20.

The better frame from which to build a complete bike was the salvage bike. So I am selling the titled frame and also the engine. The frame is a rolling chassis. It includes fork, wheels, tires, driveshaft, brakes, brake pedal, brake calipers, handlebar, coils, regulator, a complete wiring harness, and some miscellaneous hardware. It does not include tank, seats, side covers, fenders, lights, footpegs, air breather box, or any of those stock cast aluminum goodies.

The engine is complete except for carbs and exhaust. It has good compression on three cylinders (160 to 165 psi) and low compression on one (120 psi). I have confirmed by testing with gear oil that the low compression is due to rings. They may be worn or they make be stuck.

I am asking $200 for the titled rolling chassis, $80 for the engine, and $250 for both. I have many parts that I had planned to sell on ebay after I sell the rolling chassis and engine. Those parts are for sale at fair prices if you need them to complete your build.
