The coffin car reminds me of a George Barris car. Classic... trike is pretty wild too! what are those, 20s on the back? Look like they'd fit on a pickup truck! What are the plans for your Maxim? Be warned, some purists don't like cutting up clean XJs!

Yeah, George Barris designed 2 cars for the Munsters, Dragula and the Coffin Car. He also did the General Lee from Hazzard, the MonkeeMobile, the 60's Batmobile, Supervan... Guy is a living legend!

ya he is a legend one of the few people that can make a car into art the coffin gokart was signed by Butch Patrick known as eddie munster im going to be at the owners house some time this weekend to place a bid on a new project i will git some pics of the signature and he has pics of him and butch with the gokart

the big cofin car wasnt to bad of a build it took about 4 months from start to finish we started with a rotted out 72 nova we used the 350 engine the front sub frame and the rear end and then went to town building the frame its fully street legal titled as a custom vehicle that took six months to register we ended up going to pick up a white 86 Cadillac hearse to use as a tow vehicle so we wouldnt miss a few shows at the beginning of the season last year so far it took best in show at hell michigan last year and third in a few other local shows it was also featured on the local news last Halloween
