So my bike started fine last year. I parked it all winter, charged the battery up. I went to start it recently. Sometimes it turns over, other times I get nothing when i push the start switch. Totally random. Bad starter maybe?

Maybe a bad starter relay switch or wiring. Could be a few more things down the list, have you tested your coils for resistance?

Most likely cause is oxidation on the starter switch.

You can determine if it is the starter or not by using a coin to jumper the two large posts on the starter relay.

Was your kill switch suddenly and randomly changing position?
