82 midnight maxim 750 in Ireland

    :oops::oops::)How ya doing folks, new here. Greetings from Ireland!

    Picking up my first yamaha in a week and it's meant to be an American import 82 midnight maxim 750, will cross reference the vins to verify.

    Previous bikes, 1985 honda xr600 enduro, 1989 honda shadow vt1100 American import, 2001 bmw r1150rt and now after 4 years of pulling my hair out due to having no bike to get rid of the stress :Da sweet low mileage 10kmiles (is there a way to check if the milage is genuine besides usual wear on pegs and grips?) will post pics when I have it. Also any help on modding the stock gears/pegs to forward controls, am 6ft5. Many thanks. Max.
