For Sale '83 XJ750 Seca Milwaukee WI

    Selling my '83 XJ750 Seca. Asking $1000 on Craigslist, but would accept a lowball offer from a site member.
    Bike has 20k on it, valves have been clearenced, and carbs completely disassembled, cleaned, new seals, dry set, wet set and sync'd. Started before your thumb comes off the start button, hot or cold...even had it started for some potential buyers last week (36 degrees).
    Bike has a Vetter fairing and factory saddlebags and trunk. Other than that bike is all stock.
    Have a current Wisconsin title in my name.
    What I would change if I kept the bike?: Brake lines original (although calipers rebuilt) and tire (although look good) are at least 10 years old.
    Located about 30 miles North of Milwaukee WI.

    i'am surprised people aren't all over that
    don't update your listing, make a new one every week, remove the old one. when people see it's been listed that long they think people have looked at it and somethings wrong with it.

    Thanks guys, I'm really surprised it's been sitting this long as well...I figured it should list around $1200 and sell at $1K...plus the only other Seca is a paint bombed basket case for $1500....I thought that alone would get mine sold...
    To Cutlass: It's only a short 12 hour drive....what's holding you back?

    If it was half that far i would. Looks like a really nice bike. I am in the process now of finishing up my 83 maxim just changed all the front brake hoses master ect rebuilt the carbs changed out the original tires. 3457 miles looks better then it did when it rolled off the showroom floor. I have 2 750 secas 81-82 need to finish 1 has 15k the other 22k
