Wanted Seca 650 seat cover

    My butt must have puckered a bit too hard and did in the seat cover yesterday, small split have looked on line and Seargent seat make a replacement cover.
    Anyone seen one or installed one, any input?? image.jpg

    That's not from puckering....pucker tightens things up. It would have pulled the seam closer together. I think you had a different issue there...........

    Serious, though,......if you want to take the time to pull a lot of staples, that is a clean tear. You could pull the cover back and before the vinyl has a chance to 'take a set' to the shape of the hole, straighten it out and tape it back together with a high quality fabric tape or upholstery tape. Gorilla tape may even be good. Just make sure to tape from the inside. After its taped and holding, maybe a careful application of black rtv to cover the tear from the outside. Then staple it back in place.

    I bought a new seat cover from B&H specialties (black with the premium material) and it looked great when i got it. it's at the upholsterer now getting put on but I'm going to make a post here once I get it back tomorrow probably.
