    Hey folks.

Meant to put "1980 xj650 part out" as the title.. but before the xj650 part of it.

I recently purchased a 2002 honda vt1100. I planned on selling my XJ650 whole, but my friend ended up breaking a stud on his engine, so I decided to sell him the engine out of the bike.

This bike has everything except the engine.

Wondering what people need / want.

This is the tank, it was recently painted and has matching side panels to go with it. The paint code is 6W.

How much for the tank? Don't need the side covers.

Sorry, but I'm trying to sell it as a set. It is worth more as a matching set.

For the entire set, the two side panels and tank,

$550 sounds fair. Since the body work and paint is amazing on all of it, just a few month old paint.

Do you have the stock mufflers? How much for them? Pics?

I have the stock exhaust system.. as far as I know.

They're in ok shape... some scratches and maybe rust pitting, a dent on the collector pipe and header pipe.

I'll grab photos, but I'm thinking $120 + the ride for them. A scuff and powdercoat or high temp paint would make them look really nice.

My headers are perfect. I sure would like to see your mufflers and collector, though. Price without the headers? Remember I asked you first!

I'll have to remove them .. technically they're still attached to the bike frame.

It is on my list. I'll try getting photos soon!

    Forgot to mention.

Carbs were taken to church... as well as baptized in holy ultrasonic water. ( Water with a soapy detergent. Rubber / gasket friendly . )

How much are you asking for the carbs? Do you know if they would work on my 82 xj650 with YICS?

Any update on the mufflers? At least a pic or two would not be too much trouble? THANKS!

Thanks for the pics! Do the mufflers break at the joint to the pipe? Or are they one piece to the collector? If they break, how long from the joint to the end of the muffler? How wide are the mufflers at (widest point) the exhaust end? Finally, how much do you want for just the mufflers? Sorry for all the questions, trying to see if I can make these work. Thanks for your time!

Yeah the mufflers break apart at the joint. They're 1980 or 1981 stock mufflers. I'll have to get you the other information.

    Hey guys,

I need to tell the tank / side panel pretty soon.

I'll do $250 for the tank, and $75 for the battery side panel.

I was recently hit on my VT1100 by a drunk driver. Before I could sit and hold off on this stuff, but now I need to sell stuff a lot quicker to pay for hospital bills.
