vin dilemma

    Hey all howzit going out there.

    After reading all about the vins here, I am now confused, my bike to all intents and purposes is a midnight maxim model, but vin code is 22r and not 33n, so has the bike been made to look like a midnight maxim at some stage in its life would ya think?

    The frame handlebar neck right hand side stamped long code and sticker on the left with production year. Engine vin correct aswell.

    Thanks, yeah that's what I figured ahhhh well no matter, just enjoy the bike for what it is and buy correct parts for it.
