This wouldn't be an option on the Seca or the Max.;)

Why not? I can do that with my Seca. Maybe you need a top-box for yours too.
What is real fun is carrying a full weeks worth of groceries (including a 25 lb bag of dog food) on a 125cc scooter. People make faces of disbelief.

In case anyone's wondering, you can bypass the Oculto, not very good.

I was going to mention that, but thought it might be rude. None of the "tequila" beers seem to be any good. It's better to mix your own the old fashioned way.

I went PA to play a concert a few years back, and also had some parts to deliver--- I got some funny looks along the highway as people passed me on my 650 maxim full-dresser with a travel bag, tuxedo bag, two extra tires, a box of parts, and my TUBA...... As we tooled along at 70mph.

It only could have looked better if you were WEARING the tux.
Has anybody seen what they carry on tiny bikes in some of those Asian countries? They show examples in driver training courses at work and some of it is insane! One that stood out was a moped with about fourteen cages with live chickens in them. Or the one that was a family vehicle; father, mother, three kids plus moms got a baby in her arms! Nothing but safety there.

    ^ far too cool.
Are those PVC storage pipes on the back also?
How does the trailer handle tight turns?

    Unfortunately no . . .
started on bassoon, then bari-sax to bass-sax, then to electric bass, then upright bass and most recently mandolin . . . . not sure how that happened!
I still play the string instruments - the only 'woodwind' I still have is a digiridoo and a train whistle.

Never tried carrying any of them on my XJ.

Yes, those are PVC tubes for storage.
The trailer handles great in tight turns. I can still make a u-turn in my driveway, feet up without going off the edge. I cannot, however, back the darned thing up very far. Even the tiniest amount of lean to one side has it steering into a jacknife within a few feet.

I started on bassoon too :) but I think it was just my dad enjoyed watching a scrawny 10 year-old carry the case on the bus. I gave it up for the drums after hearing Phil Collins classic - "I can feel it coming in the air tonight" on Miami Vice.

It's been a while - maybe I should pick that up again - but I ain't going to get them on the bike - perhaps a sax would be better. I can ride around Washington playing the blues in a homage to every Sonny Crocket deep thought interlude....

I can tell you that sax is better. In fact sax is better than everything else.

    ^^^ OMG - that wins!
I don't know what it wins but I have tears and a side ache from laughing.

The mullet really seals the deal!

Thank goodness this is the hangout lounge . . . this thread has seriously gone astray.
