Petcock question

    I'm in need of a new (none leaky) petcock for my 82 XJ750 Seca. I found one for a 80 xj650 seca. My question is...will it fit?

    The XJCD cross reference shows the petcock used on the 82 xj750 seca is the same part number on 80 xj650 maxim, but not on the xj650 seca until 1982!

    Have you seen the posts of some members changing theirs with a pingle on/off petcock? Might be something to consider.

    Bummer...so close but yet so far away.

    This guy on ebay is selling a ton of XJ650 SECA parts pretty cheap.

    The petcock was only 0.99 with 7.00 shipping.

    I'll have to do some searching on the on/off petcock. Thanks for the heads up.
