    The one you linked is the one that I use. Search other places and you might find one on sale. I snagged mine from a place that was opening their online store and used it as one of their loss-leaders. Chacal sells tehm as well, and has them in stock.

    1. The Colortune works perfectly fine with CV carbs. Whenever someone has been stuck with a yellow flame there was something wrong that needed attended to before tuning was possible.

    2. His DYI colortune plug should work fine for a while, so long as it really is made properly so it seals the combustion chamber.

    3. I'd rather buy one Colortune than have to make another DYI plug after the epoxy clouds from the heat and soot. I'd also prefer to not have my eye poked out by a peice of flying ceramic, so I won't be breaking the ceramic out of a plug anytime soon.

    Tell him you need a Gunson Colortune for your 1985 XJ700 Maxim.
    He will give you the order number and pricing.
    Order it and find that you life just got easier instead of scouring the Internet to save a couple bucks . . .

    I am gonna order a real once I get home from vacation. I also just want to experiment in trying just to see if I can make my own but a little better than the design in the dyi.
