    Would love to bid, as I'm not too far away, but will be moving for a new job in a few weeks and not sure I'd be able to store it for the time being. No bids at just a few hours left, although it's a non-runner and I always suspect there are details the seller won't share. For $200 it'd be a hell of a project...

    That would be me. Going to go pick it up at the end of the week. Be a few months before I can really dive into it, but now that my Maxim is "done" I need another project. For the price I couldn't let it go. I'm sure it needs a good amount of TLC, but I love the cheesy retro styling and will be interested to see how the turbo feels once she's in good running order. I still see the power-up kits on eBay for the 82 models.

    Great score, good to see one of our own get the bike.
    Rode a new one back when we I was in sales dept at Yamaha dealer. Nice kick in the butt when the boost kicked in!
    Oh and you need one of these to put in a frame ! image.jpg I kept a bunch of these postcards from 1982
