Nice build. Im curious about a couple things, hows it ride with no fork brace? Whats with the X on the headlight? And is it just my eyes playing tricks or is the rear suspension not sitting level on both sides? (Look at the pic from behind and look closely at the rear suspension near where the spring ends, looks like they sit at different angles)

Looks like fun to ride nice job!

    THe bike rides pretty
Hey there, the bike rides fine with no fork brace, however I am going to fabricate a new front fender which will incorporate the brace, the suspension is level and good with new Ikon shocks, I think the image has distorted, just measure the pegs and exhaust, they are within 6-8mm. And X just marks the spot. thanks for your comments. cheers

The headers are stock with Megaton mufflers from the UK.

@Beekman, I have seen the taped "X" on the headlight as an old racer's trick for preventing your glass from shattering due to rocks thrown up from tires. Ok, maybe not a trick, but required to pass safety inspection for some tracks.
Alternately, it is a way for people to know it's an "X"j! Like those huge HONDA logos to remind you in case you forgot who makes a Civic! lol

I think that's an illusion. Note the angle of the horizon line in the background. Plus, there's some distortion in there too. See Beekman's comment above...
What's adding to the weirdness is the stand that shows in the picture doesn't seem to be touching the ground. Must be something hidden from view holding it up.

I think its on the center stand boyeezz

But then again i dont see a center stand in the 2nd pic. 1st pic to the left of the bike sure looks like the foot press part for the center stand.

I know it's an illusion. That's why it made my brain go nuts :)
I too tilt the camera once in a while to take pics of my bike which then seems to defy all laws of physics.

If that's not the explanation... aliens

Yes, the bike is on the centre stand in prevoius pic #1 and I think its all the lines of the garage door and slab creating the trippiness, a few more pics to help with the head scratching. The 1st image below is at the Deus bike build off this year in Sydney, lots of fun and very cool bikes there, this was the only XJ and in fact a couple of the judges didn't even know what it was, they are few and far between in Australia. Image 3 should make it a little clearer and no help from the interstellar aliens.
