Wanted XJ550/650/750 in SE MI

Hey folks,

Looking to get back on an XJ (or a Radian 600), if anyone knows anyone with a running, riding example in good shape with decent mileage, please let me know.

I am looking for bikes under $2k and I'm in Warren, MI and can take a drive to find the right bike.

Not sure how much you want to spend? I have an 82 Seca 550 in Excellent condition. Absolutely Stock.
It is on Bike Urious this week. Take a look if you are interested I can send you more pics. 26,000 miles runs great.
All the decals, stock pipes, Fairing, seat is great everything works. Take a look.

 

Mine is up for sale. Why buy a wimpy 550 or 650 when what you really want is the 750? 28 K miles. $1500 just restored it. It's in Florida, though lol.

Sam, While I do find the 550 Seca very interesting (I'd really like a Seca,) I feel as though the price is out of my ballpark and I wouldn't want to offend with my offer.

Max, I don't think I'll be buying a plane ticket to head over to Tampa. I appreciate the offer though.

Did anyone ever play Sam& Max? Good game.

I have a real nice 81 Maxim with 6200 on the clock and a bunch of spare parts including a NOS 650 crate engine with no serial number stamped in it.
Sweet ride and I did the valves and carbs including shaft seals and all new jets.

We saw those crate engines intended for service schools that is a good score if it's never been opened up!

The 650 at some point had fallen over and one fin on the head is cracked off.
The gas tank also has a dent in it but I have a nice tank and this engine. So with the super low miles and the parts I have makes it a real nice restoration project.
It's always been in a garage and there is no rust or weathering anywhere. So if someone was looking for a nice original bike that could be factory or showroom condition with little effort this is the one. I would love to do it but the truth is I just don't have time and I have way to many other projects to tend to. I hope a collector will buy it and do it up right.

 

I'm in Michigan city Indiana and I have a 1980 xj650 runs rides good sat for 10 years got it going good little rust on forks but then I have a 1982 xj650 that also comes with it complete but in pieces all except exhaust 82 has no title 80
Has clean clear original title 2nd owner

I would be open to discuss and as always you can come and look at the bike.
