I feel like I am missing something on the front axle. I don't have a manual and cant find the schematic anywhere.

The bolt locking tabs are not bent up on the rotor. Did you center the wheel prior to cinching the bolt?

Sorry for the late reply I am working at a summer camp and have limited access to the internet. I did not center the wheel before I clinched the bolt. The only time I have taken off the front wheel was when I did some work on the front forks with my friend who has more wrenching experience and he did not I believe. How do I do that.

Leave the pinch bolt (right side) loose. TIghten the axle nut to spec. Then tighten the pinch bolt to spec. Often it is necessary to loosen the fender, and both sets of fork pinch bolts in order for the whole front end to get back into alignment, but if all you removed is the front wheel you probably won't need to do that.

also my clutch has started slipping. If my steel plates aren't burnt what do I need to buy in order to rebuild it. Or is there another reason it could be slipping that wouldn't require a rebuild? Right now I have yamalube performance all purpose 10w-40. It is on the jaso list in your signature.

Tried adjusting the clutch? You'll need friction plates (probably can re-use the plain plates), springs, bolts and a gasket. The torque on the bolts must be to the correct spec. FYI Len sells everything you'll need.

I have not tried adjusting the clutch, how do I do that? It slips when i give it 3/8ths throttle or more.
