    Beware the Boxer engine :)

    Smooth and loads of torque but the torque is sideways. I've had my 1200RT for almost a year now and it still surprises me sometimes when I blip the throttle. BMW is a great machine though and love it to death. The RnineT is awesome and you will more than enjoy it so good luck with your purchase.

    P.S. still ride the XJ and have equal thrills.

    On the market for a new bike soon and test rode one weeks ago. Looks are great but the ride didn't wow me that much.
