Does anyone have any recommendations on what paint to use for the frame?
The paint i was thinking about buying was the products from por-15.

    POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating
    Por-15 Self Etching Primer
    Por-15 Hardnose (Discontinued)

Ideally i would like a 2 part paint system since it offers some type of chemical protection. Others have been looking at are:

    PJ1 Fast Black Epoxy Paint

POR-15 is great stuff but it is not UV resistant. It will turn chalky white if exposed to sunlight after a few years. It has to be topcoated with another paint. I painted a ATV rack and did not top coat it, after some time I had to re paint it. I have had good success using most any engine paint from the parts store. After it cures it is pretty durable.

I usually do oil based paint to keep the water away and its super durable.
