My bike runs pretty good but when it gets warm and when I start from a stop its boggs a little bit. If I blip the throttle a tiny bit it drop below idle when revs come back down. Idle mixture screws are 2.5 out. Not sure what is going on. Top is okay though.

    Check your float heights.

    Depends what bike you have.

On my bike it is 3mm +/- 1mm

I'd say bring those Mixture Screws OUT some more.

See how she behaves with the Pilot Screws just a very small degree shy of 3 Turns Out.

Rick - wouldn't boggy indicate a richer than desired mix? If so, you should turn the mixture screws in a bit to lean it out.

3mm measurement is taken from the lowest lip of the carb body (ignoring the float bowl) to the fuel level in the hose.

I read the ~> 2.5 <~ "Boggy" as being Lean and waiting for the Off-Idle to kick-in.

    Pull them Plugs.
If their Clean ... I guessed right.

If they are Dark ... Screw 'em in a bit!

Those carbs look pretty grungy - if the inside looks anything like the outside, then you need to pull em and clean em.

I checked my plugs and only number one was sooty but thats because the diaphram wasn't seal completly, which I fixed a few days ago. I checked all the float levels again and they are all good. So I resynch the carbs again and it was good. So I decided to play with the mixture screws 1,2,3, where fine but 4 would adjust even when I screwed it all the way in?
Not sure what is going on so I pulled the top of the carb off and check things out and everything looks fine, and the cold circuit is good also I checked.
