82 XJ550 Part Out

    I'm parting out my 82 Xj550. 2nd gear was shattered so there was metal in the oil change 3 times over. Trying to get that cleaned engine rebuilt and other things I would need to get it running again I'd be way upside down on it. I'm trying to save face and get something outta it. I know this will kill some, ok alot, of you fellow members, but this is what I believe to be best. Like I said 2nd gear was shattered so metal in the oil pan through the engine. But those at your own risk. Other parts on the bike should be there as I was able to ride it a total of 3 times before it stopped shifting into second gear. Sad part this was my first bike, so might of left me with a bad taste in my mouth. But I'll try again, just with a different bike. I'll ship parts, but at your expense.     I have the plastics that cover the battery and the air box also. I took them off when I was charging the battery. One has a bullet hole sticker from the PO covering some of the "chrome" flake from peeling. I can post pictures of those tonight when I get home.

    Front Brake & Clutch Lever are gone. Shifter is available, I'll double check for the Master Cylinder and Caliper, thinking they are on there. I will send you a pm tonight.
